our process

Get in touch

Contact us by filling out the quote form on our contact page, calling us on 04 568 6363, emailing us on rsl.ltd@xtra.co.nz, or dropping into our repair centre at 80 Sydney Street in Petone, Lower Hutt. If you can't make it to our panel shop, you can book a free mobile assessment.

Assessment

Once you’ve informed us of your needs, we’ll assess your vehicle in person or virtually to let you know what work needs to be done, how long we estimate it will take, and which of our services will be most beneficial to you.

Insurance or quote approval

After your assessment, we’ll send the quote to either yourself or your insurance company for approval, depending on whether it's a private or insurance job. Once the quote is authorised, we’ll get in touch to book you in.

Book in

Book your vehicle in for a date and time that suits you. If we need to order parts, we will have these ready before your arrival. We’ll send you a reminder about your booking the day before, and we’ll provide an expected completion date.

Repair

When you drop off your vehicle, we’ll examine it together and tell you what we’re going to do. While repairing your vehicle, you’ll receive a SMS regarding the expected completion date, and when it’s ready for pick up. If you’re using our same-day rapid repair service, you can grab a coffee in our guest lounge while you wait.

Collection

When you pick up your vehicle, we’ll look at it together to make sure you’re happy with the work we’ve done, and we’ll finish up any paperwork before you drive away.

Follow up

We’ll be in touch the next day to make sure you're still pleased with our craftsmanship.
